Oriental Rice & Noodle Casserole

1/4 pound(s) Butter
8 ounce Thin Noodles
1 pound(s) Mushrooms, cleaned and sliced
1 can(s) Chicken Broth
1 package(s) Onion Soup
14 ounce boiling water
1 cup(s) Minute Rice
1 can(s) Water Chestnuts (sliced)
1 package(s) Frozen Pea Pods
Saute noodles in butter in large skillet over medium heat til brown. Toss in mushrooms, heat. Mix soups with boiling water, add to noodles & mushrooms. Cover and cook 5 minutes. Add the rice & water chestnuts, cook a few minutes. Pour into casserole, cover and bake at 375 degrees for 30 minutes. Remove from oven and place frozen pea pods on top, bake uncovered for an additional 15 minutes. Serve.
